To mark a significant achievement of selling 50,000 units of its prominent mid-size SUV in the domestic market, Tata Motors has introduced a brand-new variant package called the Jubilee Edition. Available at an initial price of ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition is designed as a dealer-fitted accessory package across three distinct trims: Smart+, Pure, and Adventure. This new offering allows buyers to get a highly customized and visually striking version of their vehicle straight from the showroom floor.
A Focus on Visual and Comfort Upgrades
It is important to note that the Jubilee Edition does not bring any mechanical alterations or updates to the vehicle's engine options. Instead, the focus of this release is entirely on enhancing the SUV's styling, cabin comfort, and protective elements. Tata Motors has tailored these accessory packages to suit different kinds of customers. The Smart+ Jubilee Edition injects a touch of premium feel into the base trim, while the Pure trim package introduces practical, everyday features. For buyers seeking a rugged, off-road appearance, the Adventure variant is paired with the specialized ROQ kit, making the vehicle look highly adventurous and distinctive.
Exterior Enhancements and Trim Specifics
Each variant under the Jubilee Edition umbrella receives specific exterior upgrades to stand out. In the Smart+ package, the vehicle gains a front grille garnish, tail-gate cladding, and roof rails. Moving up, the Pure package adds protective wheel arch cladding along with a comprehensive body cladding package. The most aggressive visual transformation is reserved for the Adventure Jubilee Edition, which features the complete Sierra ROQ kit. This kit includes front and rear skid plates, a prominent hood scoop, sleek window-line cladding, wheel-arch cladding, and unique body decals. Despite these styling additions, the core design elements of the standard Sierra, such as its signature split tailgate and a high ground clearance of 205 mm, remain completely unchanged.
Premium Cabin Experience and Added Features
Inside the cabin, the Jubilee packages bring several luxury touches to elevate the driving experience. Passengers will find high-quality leatherette seat upholstery, while the Pure trim also benefits from a premium leatherette steering wheel cover. These upgrades make the cabin feel significantly more premium than the standard model. The vehicle still retains its spacious interior, offering generous headroom, legroom, and high-quality materials throughout the cabin. On the technology front, the Smart+ Jubilee Edition comes equipped with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear-view camera for easy parking, and a reliable four-speaker audio system. The Pure variant enhances utility by adding front and rear dashcams, a practical parcel tray, and magnetic sunshades. The Adventure variant combines these dashcams with the specialized ROQ interior styling cues. Depending on the chosen variant, standard high-end features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and an advanced triple-screen setup on top-spec trims are also available.
Uncompromised Safety and Engine Options
Safety remains a top priority, and the Jubilee Edition retains the robust safety net of the standard SUV. It comes equipped with six airbags as a standard feature across all options. The safety suite also includes Electronic Stability Program (ESP), disc brakes on all four wheels, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a highly rigid structural frame. Higher variants also benefit from advanced Level 2+ ADAS technology. Under the hood, this special edition is powered by the existing internal combustion engines (ICE). Customers can choose between three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 106 hp and 145 Nm of torque, a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 255 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 118 hp alongside torque outputs of 260 Nm or 280 Nm depending on the configuration. These engines are mated to both manual and automatic transmission options.
The Electric Alternative
For buyers looking to transition to green mobility, Tata Motors has also introduced the Sierra EV, which starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹18.79 lakh. The electric version is offered with two battery pack options: 63 kWh and 75 kWh. The rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variants feature a rear-mounted motor delivering up to 238 hp, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants feature dual motors producing a massive 504 Nm of torque. This electric SUV boasts an official MIDC claimed range of 566 to 665 km on a single charge, which translates to a realistic real-world range of over 450 km. Additionally, the Sierra EV supports rapid charging, allowing it to charge quickly via a 120 kW DC fast charger.
