Prior to this update, Yamaha offered this particular electronic aid exclusively on the Intensity White paint scheme and the range-topping R15 M variant.

The variants equipped with the factory-fitted quickshifter carry an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1,79,500. On the other hand, buyers looking to purchase the standard non-quickshifter version can get it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,74,850. This creates an exact price premium of Rs 4,650 for the electronic clutchless shifting mechanism. Despite the market arrival of the R2, demand for the R15 platform continues to remain exceptionally strong among young motorcycle buyers. While the mechanical layout remains entirely identical under the skin, expanding the tech equipment enhances the overall value proposition of the machine.

Visually, the updated 2026 Yamaha R15 V4 retains its aerodynamic and aggressive road presence, continuing to draw heavy styling inspiration from its larger middleweight sibling, the YZF-R7.
