The Bharatiya Janata Party is preparing to launch a month-long nationwide public outreach drive to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Scheduled to run from September 17 to October 17, the initiative has been named the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan. The campaign also coincides with Prime Minister Modi completing 25 years in public service. The highlight of this extensive program will be a grand rally travelling from Vadnagar in Gujarat to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, presented to the public under the banner of the Janmabhoomi se Karmabhoomi Yatra.
Convoys of Bikers and Party Workers on the Roads
According to the party strategy, 10 dedicated teams will flag off simultaneously from both Vadnagar and Varanasi on the very first day. The teams starting from Varanasi will spend the month traveling across regions to reach Vadnagar. At the same time, the teams departing from Vadnagar will complete their journey to Varanasi within the same duration.
The convoys will consist of party workers traveling in buses along with special teams of bikers. Each team is tasked with covering approximately 100 kilometers every day. Along their designated routes, the teams will conduct four specialized interactive programs daily to create awareness about various welfare schemes of the central government.
Focus on Public Outreach and Welfare Initiatives
The campaign outlines a comprehensive outreach plan spanning regions from North to South and East to West across the country. Key activities will include organizing large-scale health checkup camps and sanitation drives. In addition, the party will host ceremonies to honor local Anganwadi workers for their community contributions.
Party workers participating in the campaign will actively engage with direct beneficiaries of government welfare schemes. Rather than holding conventional political rallies or celebrations, the party aims to position this month-long effort as a major festival dedicated to community service and public welfare.
