This includes immediate medical care to address physical injuries and prompt police assistance to ensure personal security.
Legal Guidance And Free Representation
To ensure that financial constraints do not hinder justice, the center offers professional legal advice. If a victim does not have her own counsel, the facility arranges a free lawyer so she can successfully pursue her legal options and secure her rights without any burden.
Counselling And Five-Day Temporary Shelter
To help survivors process trauma and plan their next steps, trained professionals conduct detailed counselling sessions to understand their grievances and guide them forward. Additionally, the facility provides up to 5 days of temporary shelter. If a survivor decides she cannot safely return to the household where the abuse occurred, she can officially file an FIR directly through the center.
