Dispute Erupted Over Opposition to Abusive Language

According to village residents, Shiv Kumar, a native of Jurawarpur village, works in a private job in Mumbai, while his family resides back home. His 35-year-old son, Ram Sanehi, was staying in the village. Family members stated that Ram Sanehi and the family of fellow villager Ramswaroop had been locked in a bitter personal rivalry for an extended period. Savage Assault Captured on Video and Circulated Online

As tensions flared, Ramswaroop, his wife Ramkumari, son Ankush, and three daughters Tannu, Priya, and Reena allegedly formed a common intention and attacked Ram Sanehi with sticks. Caught completely off guard by the coordinated assault, Ram Sanehi sustained severe blows all over his body and collapsed onto the ground in critical condition. During the violent encounter, an onlooker recorded a video of the beating, which later circulated across social media platforms.

When neighboring residents noticed the commotion, gathered around, and shouted warnings at the attackers, the suspects fled the scene while threatening to kill the victim. The injured man was left bleeding on the ground, prompting locals to alert the police immediately.

Victim Succumbs During Treatment; Police Detain Accused

Upon receiving the alert, officers from the Shivli police station arrived at the scene and transported the injured Ram Sanehi to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Shivli. Given the grave nature of his injuries, medical personnel provided initial emergency treatment before referring him to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur for advanced medical intervention. Despite emergency medical care at Hallet Hospital, Ram Sanehi passed away.

The news of his death triggered widespread distress in Jurawarpur village. The victim's sister, Rajni, wife of Manoj, filed a formal complaint at the local police station. Based on her statement, police registered a case of murder against six named individuals: Ramswaroop, his wife, his son, and his three daughters. Shivli Kotwali police confirmed that named accused have been taken into custody for questioning, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as further legal proceedings continue.
