IndiGo has launched a direct flight service between Jodhpur and Noida International Airport starting today, giving travellers from Rajasthan a much faster route into the Delhi-NCR region. Passengers will now be able to cover the distance between Jodhpur and Noida in just 1 hour and 40 minutes, a route that previously had no direct air connection.
Flight Timings and Schedule
The flight will depart Jodhpur at 12:20 pm and land in Noida at 2 pm. On the return leg, it will take off from Noida at 2:55 pm and reach Jodhpur by 4:20 pm. The service will operate four days a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, so travellers will need to plan their trips around these specific days.
Jodhpur's Air Connectivity Widens
With this new flight, Jodhpur's direct air connectivity has grown from 6 cities to 7. The total number of flights operating out of Jodhpur airport has also risen from 9 to 10. Jodhpur now enjoys direct flight links to seven major cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad and Noida.
Relief for Travellers Headed to Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra and Haridwar
The new Noida connection will also bring relief to people who travel by road to Mathura and the nearby towns of Vrindavan, Agra and Haridwar. Two flights to Delhi are already available, but with this new Noida flight, passengers will no longer need to get stuck in the capital's heavy traffic to reach these destinations.
A Boost for Handicraft Exporters
Greater Noida hosts an international fair twice a year, and a number of handicraft exporters from Jodhpur regularly attend it. The new flight will make travel considerably easier for these exporters. Until now, it took around one and a half hours to reach Greater Noida from Delhi airport, but from Noida airport, the same distance will now take just half an hour.
Full Schedule for Jodhpur's Other Flights
IndiGo operates a daily flight to Delhi, arriving at 10:55 am and departing at 11:45 am. Air India also runs a daily Delhi flight, landing at 3:05 pm and departing at 3:50 pm.
To Mumbai, Air India operates daily, arriving at 12:45 pm and departing at 1:25 pm. IndiGo also runs a separate daily Mumbai flight, arriving at 2:10 pm and departing at 2:50 pm.
IndiGo flies to Bengaluru on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving at 8:45 am and departing at 9:20 am. Air India Express also serves Bengaluru every day except Saturday, arriving at 3:30 pm and departing at 4 pm.
The IndiGo flight to Ahmedabad runs daily except on Wednesday, arriving at 12 noon and departing at 12:20 pm. IndiGo's Pune flight operates daily, arriving at 2 pm and departing at 2:30 pm, while its Hyderabad flight also runs daily, arriving at 4:15 pm and departing at 4:45 pm.
