During a public hearing session held on Monday at the Chief Minister's official residence in Lucknow, several swift administrative decisions were witnessed as citizens from across Uttar Pradesh presented their grievances. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally interacted with visitors to resolve pressing matters ranging from welfare assistance to property disputes. Highlighting the administration's focus on grassroots economic empowerment, the Chief Minister instantly approved the allocation of a cow to a woman seeking financial independence through cattle farming, while also ordering stern measures to clear illegal encroachment from a disabled citizen's property.
Empowering Women Through Livestock Farming
Among the attendees at the Janta Darshan was Poonam Devi, a resident of Gurudev Nagar in the Hargaon area of Sitapur district. In her formal application submitted to the Chief Minister, she expressed her ambition to strengthen her household's financial stability through dairy farming. Poonam Devi stated that she already takes care of 5 cows and possesses adequate space and infrastructure on her property to house more cattle. Seeking government support to expand her small setup, she requested the provision of an additional cow so that increased milk sales could help raise her family's standard of living.
Immediate Directives to Animal Husbandry Officials
Impressed by her dedication to cattle care and her self-reliant mindset, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the Additional Chief Secretary of the Animal Husbandry Department to act without delay. The official was instructed to allocate a destitute cow to Poonam Devi in accordance with state guidelines. Furthermore, the Chief Minister ordered that she be provided monthly financial assistance for cattle maintenance under the Mukhyamantri Sahbaghita Yojana, alongside ensuring her access to other applicable welfare schemes. Encouraging her efforts, the Chief Minister reiterated the state government's commitment to facilitating self-employment opportunities for rural women.
Decisive Action on Property Encroachment
In another prominent case brought forth during the hearing, a differently-abled man approached the Chief Minister with a complaint regarding the unlawful occupation of his landed property. After reviewing the grievance, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued explicit orders to local administrative and law enforcement officers to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter. He emphasized that strict legal action must be initiated against perpetrators involved in illegal land grabbing, ensuring that the victim receives complete justice and that his property is restored to him promptly with necessary support.
Focus on Timely Grievance Redressal
The public interaction event drew individuals from numerous districts across the state, seeking intervention in matters related to local administration, revenue issues, and social safety nets. Ordering departmental officials to adopt a responsive approach, the Chief Minister mandated that every single public issue must be dealt with efficiently within a fixed timeframe. A detailed update published via an official X post highlighted that the government remains steadfast on the path of good governance, prioritizing direct assistance to vulnerable sections of society.
