In connection with the RPSC teacher recruitment paper leak investigation, the Special Operations Group has apprehended another accused individual in Jaipur. The arrested person has been identified as Shravan Kumar Bishnoi, who works as a second-grade teacher at a government school in Dhorimana, Barmer. This case stems from the School Lecturer Economics recruitment examination held in 2022.
Arranging The Leaked Paper For Seven Lakhs
According to investigators, the accused orchestrated the arrangement of the leaked exam paper for his friend Gopal in exchange for seven lakh rupees. Notably, after acquiring the exam paper through illicit means, Gopal successfully cleared the lecturer recruitment examination.
Involvement Of Babulal Katara And Other Kingpins
During the ongoing probe into this extensive paper leak syndicate, the complicity of then RPSC member Babulal Katara had previously come to light. Allegations indicate that Babulal Katara handed over the paper to Shersingh alias Anil Meena. From there, the leaked material reached paper leak syndicate operators Suresh Dhaka and Bhupendra Saran. Handlers associated with this network distributed and taught the solved question paper to candidates across various regions of the state.
Four-Day Police Remand Granted By Court
Following up on leads during the investigation, the Special Operations Group formally arrested Shravan Kumar on Monday. Post-arrest, he was produced before a court, which subsequently remanded the accused to four days of police custody. Details regarding this operation were provided by ADG Vishal Bansal.
Examination Timeline And FIR Registration
The contentious RPSC examination was conducted on October 15 and October 2022, following which the leak came to public attention. After verifying initial clues and evidence, a formal FIR was registered at the Special Operations Group police station on April 10, 2025.
