A shooting reported from Brampton, Canada, has once again pushed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang into the headlines. Soon after gunfire targeted an establishment called Mahal Sweets in the city, a menacing post surfaced on social media and began spreading rapidly. The person who shared it described himself as part of the Lawrence Bishnoi group and admitted to carrying out the attack. So far, however, there has been no independent confirmation that the claim is genuine, and local police are working to investigate the matter.
The Facebook Account and a Video of a Gun Being Fired
The post now circulating was allegedly put up through a Facebook account named ‘Aarzoo Bishnoi’. Alongside it, a video is also doing the rounds online, showing a gun in which a bullet is loaded and then fired. For now, this material is what is fuelling the entire episode.
A Direct Threat to Shoot Someone in the Head
According to the message in the post, responsibility for the firing at Brampton's Mahal Sweets was claimed by Aarzoo Bishnoi, Tyson Bishnoi and Shubham Lonkar. The post also singles out one individual with a direct warning. It claims that the shop's owner had been called earlier as well, but that he took the call lightly and failed to treat it seriously.
The message goes on to warn in plain terms that if such calls continue to be ignored, the gang will enter his mall and put a bullet in his head. Beyond this, the gang has also cautioned its other rivals to stay prepared.
Denying Reports of a Rift Within the Gang
The threatening message also flatly rejects the recently circulating reports of internal disagreements within the gang. The post claims that all members of the Lawrence Bishnoi group remain united among themselves, and that talk of a split is nothing more than rumour. The message reads: ‘We all brothers were one, are one, and will remain one.’
Investigation Underway, Authorities Stay Silent
It is still not clear whether this viral post was actually written by a member of the gang or fabricated by someone else. Canadian police and security agencies are jointly examining both the shooting incident and the social media post. For the moment, officials have issued no formal statement on whether the post is authentic.
